Since photography is weaved into much of my daily existence, I try to perfect my craft by reading, watching, or practicing some new skill. For me, learning and becoming a better individual to help the collective brings amazing satisfaction. So I choose to be better tomorrow than I am today for you, myself and my customers.
What motivates you each day and gives you satisfaction for tomorrow?

I remember the day I photographed the base of Skogafoss. It was a very wet experience for me. The closer I got to the inlet carved out by the waterfall, the stronger was the windswept mist. I remember within 5 minutes of entering the area, I was drenched. However, my visit was worth every drop of mist that fell upon me. The power of nature is so good for the mind-body and soul. Get out and enjoy.
When 2020 began, I could not possibly conceive of the world we are now living in today. Neither could I have imagined that my camera would be a tool used to share the changing tides of a nation. From a global pandemic to an awakening of social injustice, I found a need to capture images that would visually tell our story of the historic time we are living through. I wanted future generations to have tangible visual evidence of the road that we are now traveling down.

Every occasion to observe and take in the magnificence of nature seems to cleanse and free my mind. Being out in nature has always been medicine for my mind and soul. This was clearly a great day.
Come out to the outdoor photography exhibition at the Restoration Plaza in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. I am humbled to have my image featured along with other black photographer’s images dedicated to "capturing the movement" of equality and justice. Join the celebration, I would love to meet all of you who have been such a big supporter of my work. This Sunday, October 4th, 12 - 5 pm.
Thank you
I stood in awe of the spectacular views. However, I must say it was one of the most challenging hikes of my life. There were steep sections to climb and distant walks across ice sheets. I was surprised by the fluctuations of the temperatures, and the periods of being pelted by ice and then the rain. In between all the weather changes, there were moments of beautiful sun and blue skies.
Upon my return from spending the morning on the Okavango Delta, I was approached by this beautiful young Botswana girl, who was intrigued…
A beautiful Saturday, October morning in Fort Greene Park located in Brooklyn New York. Gathered together for the Annual Great Pupkin Event are thousands of viewers and more than a hundred dog-contestants dressed in their best Halloween costumes. The dogs and their enthusiastic owners strut their stuff across the viewing area. They have come to be judged in this fabulous competition.
I am honored to contribute my photography skills and services to give LMNOP a visual presence, highlighting the great work and opportunities this organization provides. In my opinion, leadership is about giving and serving. I am just one small piece of a collective of incredible LMNOP leaders that serve the A + D community.

I find when taking on a new client, it’s important to take the time to listen. I am asked, what is the most important skill needed to be a photographer? I always will reply, it’s the skill of listening. I have found that it is a skill in constant and continual development.
